Catherine Louise "Katey" Sagal is an American on-screen character conceived in 1954 and most acclaimed for her part of Peggy Bundy – Al Bundy's wife – from the mainstream TV arrangement "Married… with Children" which ran for eleven years.

A fascinating actuality about Katey Sagal is that her pregnancy was incorporated in the arrangement's plot. In 1991 she discovered she was pregnant and the makers chose to incorporate the unforeseen pregnancy in the storyline. Sadly, later that same year Katey's pregnancy was ceased in the seventh month as the ultrasound uncovered the toddler was stillborn. At that point the makers transformed the entire pregnancy into a "dream" and it was just quickly mentioned in one episode.
